Method of blood glucose conversion: there are two types of units representing the blood glucose value, one is milligrams per deciliter (mg/dl); The other is millimoles per liter (mmol/ l). The conversion formula for both units is: mg/ dl-18 =mmol/ l; Mmol/ l x 18 = mg/dl. For example, when 120mg/dl is converted to a value in mmol/ l, it is divided by 18, i.e. 120mg/ dl-18 = 6.67 mmol/ l; To convert 6.67 mmol/ l to a value in mg/dl, you must multiply by 18.6.67 mmol/ l x 18=120mg/dl
